Cherry Picking Economics

Here's my mother-in-law picking cherries with the rest of the family at a cherry farm.

Have to say the farm really knows how to do the touristy thing. Give coupla Singaporeans a bucket for 50 Aussie dollars, tell them to fill it up with all the cherries they can pick in it and they'd go ga-ga :) [you don't get a $5 refund on your admission charge if your bucket's not full]
